However, this is a different type of Fire (comparing to Zelensky), because Bing is Yang Fire that is represented by the fire of the Sun.

Bing people typically tend to be generous, warm, and protective. However, they can be also very opinionated, single-minded, stubborn – and very conservative. Being the Sun, they often have a sense of grandeur about themselves, believing that they are here to save the world.

Putin’s Day Pillar is Bing Xu, hence his personality type is – Fire Dog.

Being a high Mountain (Five Elements wise), Dog produces a strong personality, that is not very flexible or accessible, and certainly not easy to read. This person is reserved, complex and most commonly holds lots of secrets (including those related to wealth and – women). Since Dog represents EG for him, and since Self sits on EG, Putin is also a person who likes to enjoy life (good food, beautiful women, etc.).

It gives stable character, making people hard-working and persistent. Such individuals like stability, aiming towards leading a modest life, where they fulfill their goals in calm and thoughtful ways (DW people are typically focused on their own interests).

Since DW (that represents wife) is strong in his chart, Putin stays in marriage; he also inclines towards enjoying in semi-hidden, but lasting extra-marital relationships. His chart shows that he treats his women well, and that he cares for them.

The current 10-year luck cycle, Bing Chen, shows personal Clash, and Six Combinations with Putin’s Month Pillar (career, but also wealth). It ends with 2024, with a new luck cycle; ending of a 10-year Luck Cycle is always a warning sign, especially for politicians. Something comes to an end, and everyone can feel it.

What also matters, maybe the most, is that Putin has enjoyed full three decades of Resource Luck!

Going through Resource Luck was the blessing for Putin because his Self is weak, hence it desperately needs help (that comes from Resources). Not surprisingly, Putin will enter Fire luck from 2023 – Fire also being favorable Element for him. However, it will never be the same as it used to be for him because the Resources are gone, and RW creates strong competitors (he might be forced to join forces with someone).

To understand where he is now, we have to assess his current Luck. The 2013-2022 Luck Cycle brough him personal Clash, Self-punishment, and Six Combinations with Month Pillar (career). The Clash caused significant slowing down, bringing obstacles and setbacks – that also reflected on the people of Russia. However, Six Combinations helped him to become more powerful and rich!

 How is Water Tiger (the year of 2022) treating Putin?

The main Qi that came within Tiger is IR, being the star of annoyance, and instable luck for Russian president. Therefore, for him 2022 is not a great time to start a war, because the luck changes all the time with IR: from better to worse, and from worse to slightly better. The end result is hard to predict, because sudden and unexpected changes can turn one’s luck both ways. On a top of IR, there is a very aggressive Star – 7K, a sign of conflicts and wars.

However, minding that Putin was caught by the slowing down of the current 10-year period, 2022 might looked really good for him. As a Travelling Star, Tiger (year) could seem like a good time to end stale situation and make the move (Travelling Star = movement).  Regarding 2022, Putin was not completely wrong when considering a change, especially because Tiger activated the Tiger-Horse-Dog (Yin-Wu-Xu) in his chart. This full Three Combinations provided additional Fire, passion, and support, putting him into hunting mode. He just had to chase something, as he had to come out from the stagnation. However, one should never plan a conflict when IR is involved, because it makes an overall development – unpredictable!

Zelensky vs. Putin: what do they have in common?

#They are both Fire people, who need Resources.

#Their charts show double EG rooted; they both know good life.

#They are both ambitious and competitive individuals (rooted RW), who like to enjoy good food, alcohol, and the company of women.

#They are both nearing the end of 10-year Luck Cycle, that always indicate the end of certain way of life, announcing structural changes.

What differs them is the structure. While Putin is pragmatic and conservative, prone towards making 10-year plans, Zelensky is more ambitious and hastier person.

The other significant difference between the two concerns 2022; while Putin is energetic and in a hunting mode at this time, Zelensky is under Harm, Destruction, and Punishment – that brings severe hardship and destruction.
