Tesla: the Self and the character
The Self is the main reference point of the Ba Zi chart evaluation.
Tesla’s Self was Jia – or Yang Wood.
Jia Self is represented by a tall tree, and this image explains these individuals’ ability to see far and to have a broad perspective. They also have great visualization abilities, and at their best, they become true visionaries, motivated by a higher purpose – which transcends their own life and personal interests. Jia individuals are also strong, honest and generous, and they are able to persist in whatever they do…
Jia Self individuals are born initiators and pioneers; they are also creative, productive and goal-oriented, as they are self-sufficient people, known for their ability to work alone. Since this Self commonly gives one a straight posture, there is no wonder that others were often mentioning Tesla’s ‘’striking physical appearance’’.
Tesla and Elon Musk
To investigate further one’s character, his potentials and what motivates him, we will look at the whole Day Pillar, which consists of self and the Branch the Self sits on. Tesla’s Day Pillar shows that his Self sits on the Fire Element (Horse), which is also strong by the season – because Tesla was born in summer. Importantly, the Fire Element happens to be Tesla’s Output Star, which gives outstanding intelligence and ability to think out of box – being also the leading Qi of his chart. This is a very fast type of Output, which belongs to highly efficient and productive person, who also appear to be a pretty – eccentric.
Although Tesla’s life is well documented, there is a lot we still do not know about his inventions or visions. We can just guess that some of these could be very important, which is purely based on the info that just before his death numerous secret services rushed to get his notes. Also, the purpose or the effects of the famous ‘’Philadelphia Experiment’’ are still under the veil of mystery. What we know is that it was alleged military experiment, carried out by the U.S. Navy and that it happened sometime around October 28, 1943. The rumors say that it was supposed to be about invisibility technology and that Tesla has built the device which made the U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Eldridge (DE-173) invisible (or “cloaked”) to enemy devices…
